Hey!! It’s a stepping stone! Congratulations! 😄 It’s not what you expected, but it comes with positives and gives you flexibility - 1 - You can make *some* money now towards getting you back on your feet. Full-time > Part-time, BUT Part-time > No-time. 2 - You now have foot in door to prove yourself and negotiate a better/full-time position. 3 - While you work here part-time, you can continue to search for a full-time position elsewhere, and/or supplement it with another part-time job in the meantime. Of course, struggling to get back on your feet really really sucks, and I’m so sorry you’re going through it. It will get better, and this small step forward will be the first of many! One day you’ll look back on this time and be grateful it’s behind you, and you’ll be proud of yourself for staying strong and moving past it ❤️❤️ Great quote I heard somewhere: When you’re going through Hell - keep going! That’s the only way to get *through* it. Good luck, and keep your head up! 💪💪💪
There's no minimum number of hours to "qualify" as part-time. All it means is that they could care less about you (by rejecting you altogether -- part-time work is the business equivalent of the friend zone.)

Well that's better than no job at all.
