Part of me wants to say I'm sure it's just her grief talking, and people will say all kinds of things they don't mean in a situation like that. I also feel like I want to say ignore what your step sister said, even though it's easier said than done. I hope she does apologize to you. but give her time. Sorry for your loss, OP.

Grief can make people say and do things that are out of character for them. Don't hold it against her but also don't be afraid to let her know you're hurting too! Sorry for your loss.

How rude! Blood doesn't mean anything. I'm closer to my stepdad than my biological father, so I can understand. Not to mention the fact that anyone is allowed to be upset for losing someone they care about! Sorry for your loss, OP. :(
