Favoritism

Today, I was playing and laughing with my new baby boy. He was giggling, and it was adorable. Out of nowhere, I said, "You're my favorite!" Now I'm sitting here, talking to my two other children about how what I said earlier I didn't mean personally. They never want to talk to me again. FML

Hahaha You should, as a parent, know that you're never allowed to say that sentence, dear

Today, I was hanging out with my mother, older brother, and my newborn baby brother. I had been feeling upset and depressed about the new baby because I felt I would be overshadowed by him and I would get no attention. My mother assured me this would not happen and I accepted it. Then she told my baby brother that he was "her favorite." My depression just increased two-fold. FML.

Well I'm not gonna say you're an unfit mother. Not at all. But it is not something a parent should say. Even if you were caught in the moment. On another note... You just gave your kids something they can use against you every time it's them agains the newborn 'n stuff.

That's horrible. I feel sorry for your kids.

oh my. how awkward. shudve just had one child o.o

Do what I did. I told my kids that each one is my favorite for several different reasons that are unique for each of them. This let's them know that none of them are loved any more or less than the other two.

only say that if you only have one kid. I'm an only child and my dad tells me that all the time.

you're the worst parent ever, bitch. I'd hate my mom forever if she ever said that to my brother, it would break my heart.

wow...you're kind of a bitch...as a mother, you're never allowed to speak those words. its more like **** your kids lives!!
