Teach him! Yes, that's awkward, and hopefully you can find a way to tactfully break it to him, but maybe he needs some guidance, wink wink. As someone pretty romantically inexperienced herself (my on-off is the only person I've ever kissed or really dated), I can tell you that there's a good chance that he's intimidated by your having experience, but he's probably also open to your help. And if he's as great a guy as you say he is, hopefully he'll take it well.
Communication is always important. :-) Just gently teach him what you like, and he'll figure out what he likes too; together you'll find out what you both like, and it will be a cool, special experience for both of you. (that is, if you're attracted to him/want to keep going out with him otherwise!)
My boyfriend used to do that. I had to tell him to stop because I couldn't breathe with my nose in his mouth.
My husband used to be like this while we were dating. It felt like he was trying to NOM my face off. it's an easy fix though. while we were making out and he started doing that I pulled back, put my finger to his lips and whispered as seductively as I could "follow my lead" then kissed him how I liked to be kissed. he learned that night and has never gone back.
Hey, at least he loves your whole body!
Like everyone is saying, if you truly like this guy and think that he's worth fighting for, teach him. I taught my boyfriend. He was a 'washing machine' kept spinning his tounge in my mouth. 6 years later still going strong and he's an amazing kisser. Better than me now! XD
Nothing wrong with nose and chin kisses as long as he gets the lips occasionally.
What's wrong with chin kissing ? my girl loves it...
done gently and deliberately I think being kissed on other parts of the face is quite nice.

Do you have a crush on a puppy, by chance?
Well, at least he's into you AND he didn't bite your face off!
