Today, I was on the phone with my best guy friend, who I have loved for years. I was talking about school and all of a sudden he said, "I love you." I flipped out saying, "Oh my god, oh my god. I love you too!" He responded with, "What?" He was talking to his mom, who was walking out the door. FML

If he's a TRUE best friend he will either: A) like you back and then you can live happily ever after etc or B) not like you back but just be cool about it and let you down easy Harboring love inside, ESPECIALLY for years is not only extremely retarded, but it will only end up hurting yourself.

you couldnt tell by the tone of his voice? usually when someones saying it to their mom who is LEAVING they end it on a higher voice. when they are revealing their feelings to you theyre softer in tone. YDI
