Aren't they dupposed to notify you before they come and check the meter? Some people shoot strangers on their property, seems like the safe thing to do for the company!

I dont understand why this is a FML. There actually supposed to come and knock or ring the doorbell to let you know there at your house so this doesnt happen, especially if theres a fence or a gate. My brothers friend had this exact same thing happen to him, except, hes a boxer and a wrestler so he didn't call 911, he beat the crap out of him and almost killed him. It was the guys fault because he jumped my brothers friend fence and he thought it was a burgular. Its the companys own fault. Its your property, they have to make themselves announced.
