most games have a story mode, try going through that first at medium or hard difficulty, it's a much better wat to learn than playing against people who are way better than you. also find people who take games less seriously. I have friends who will and won't play with people who are bad, it has nothing to do with their character just depends on how competitive and patient they are. nothing wrong with making new friends online and off.
Don't play with yourself. You'll go blind! Or grow hair on your palms. Or both.
Don't have to be a world beater to enjoy yourself. but, I do remember playing Halo 1 and thinking hey I'm pretty good. played Halo 2 online and realized how "good" I really was lol
You 'don't even like playing with yourSELF', or you 'don't even like PLAYing with yourself'? Either way, there are some unhappy hormones happening.
