That's not your fault OP the girl should've said it nicely
It's how you phrased the question that matters, I had a brain tumor and also neck surgery so my voice sounds funny. A girl in my class asked about my voice but she said "what's wrong with you?" So I naturally took some offense
See now THAT could be considered rude. I understand that. You don't ask someone you hardly know whats up with a fault they have. It's rude and disrespectful. But the op was just trying to make someone feel better in letting her know she's not alone. Not rude at all. Just an attempt at being a kind person.
Moments like this, I keep my mouth shut.
Don't make comments about other people's issues unless they draw attention to it first..
Wow, her attitude needs a major "tume" up.
She shouldn't have been so rude. How could you of possibly known she had a brain tumor?

It's just a situation where you. couldn't have known that girl should've handled it better though
You had good intentions and you didn't know, don't stretch your brain over it too much...
