Good luck, man

Today, I realised that I wasted 10 years of my life studying for a godforsaken exam for my career. I took the dang exam 3 times, and failed it. This September will be my last and final attempt, and If I don't make it, I don't know what I will do with my life. Changing careers at 42 just seems too difficult. FML

Don't beat yourself up. I changed from IT to Aerospace Program Management at 47. And I'm not looking back. Excellent decision. I also found that test anxiety was my biggest enemy. once I let go of the care the anxiety went with it and I did much better. Resolve yourself to, "It will be what it will be." you will feel better once you get to that point. at 42, I was finishing my masters degree and fighting Finance exams. Too well I remember test anxiety. You got this.

Lemme guess - Bar exam? That’s less of an exam and more of an elaborate hazing ritual.

If it took ten years and you still failed. You need to find a different career period.
