Parents need to understand that they are not their children's role models and don't aspire to grow up to be just like them. If I ever have children, the most I'll ever do is make them complete their education, they can pursue any career they want after that as long as they become independent.
I notice that OP is from Peru. Isn't family highly emphasized in Spanish/Hispanic/Latino culture?

I had my first kid only weeks after my 23rd birthday and I think that is even to young. At 19 you should be out enjoying life.
