Today, I got caught in the rain without an umbrella. I arrived at work looking like a wet rat, and my boss sent me home to change. I forgot my keys at work and ended up locked out of my apartment in the rain. I can't seem to catch a break. FML

Today, I locked myself out of my truck for the first time. While trying to unlock it, it started to rain. After half an hour, I successfully unlocked the door and then drove over my bookbag, which I had placed underneath the truck to keep it out of the rain. FML

next time never let some rain ruin your parade. kiss in the rain, run in puddles, run for cover and hold each other close laughing about it, make a joke that the universe ( or God) wanted you to have more time together. if you put in the effort to make a somewhat shitty situation into a cute memory, she won't have time to think of you as forgetful or whatever mean things you're telling yourself she'll see you want her to smile more than worry or see you down on you because you can make it work
