LOL, that's kind of harsh... but at the same time #8 is right, you are a grown man/woman now so it's time to get past needing to see Mommy all the time. You've got phone and emails, you'll be fine. :)
I think she didn't really understand how to use it or it was too hard for her to use is. it isnt the cost thing.
LOL she just doesn't want to admit she can't figure it out. Don't worry!
Ditto #6 And hey... on the positive you'll be in London, right? I love that city :) It's really confusing though, damn streets are built all going to the center of the city, no blocks lol I hope you have a GPS
And btw if you haven't left yet, you probably could set it up for her and show her how and she might even use it lol
Lol, when I left for England at the beginning of this semester, I had to get Skype; my mom wouldn't let me go without it :P
what the hell these FMLs are getting weaker
Sounds like my mom. I installed Skype on her computer and made it autorun. The first time I called her, the "incoming call" thing popped up. She thought it was a virus, and got my sister to remove it.

That was a dick move on her part.
shes probably like my mom and totally technologically challenged. it took my mom 2 months to use skype right
