Today, my phone died. I plugged it in to charge and then went out to run some errands. When I returned, my phone was no where to be found, and our shovel was on the floor, muddy and wet. I then discovered my 6-year old son had buried my "dead" 200$ palmpilot because he had felt sorry for me. FML

Today, I posted my phone for sale on Facebook. Someone hit me up to buy it and wanted me to meet them. I didn't really want to drive to them, but I'm a mom of two and I needed food and some extra cash, so I did it. The guy asked to look at the phone… and ran off with it. FML

OP - I’m really sorry your son is so stupid. At 8 years old he ought to know better. Do be sure to track it down and get it back if possible. And that son of yours needs some serious consequences for this. I kind of like the idea of donating his favorite toys to a charity and DO NOT REPLACE THEM.
