Today, I got a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see Hamilton. My friend kept complaining and asking very loudly why it was "just about that one guy". We got kicked out. FML

I don’t care who it is they are outta my life. Ain’t nobody gonna get me kicked out of my favorite musical.

When the usher came, you should have denied knowing your “friend.”

Hamilton as in 'Louis Hamilton, the F1-driver' ?

No as in Alexander Hamilton one of the founding fathers of the USA.

No, you idiot, George Hamilton, the very sun-tanned actor. Duh!

Hamiton in real life was a pos. His killer burr was the real gentleman. And also that show will run a long time

I’ve read several biographies. Burr was a swindler and a manwhore (possibly an incestuous manwhore, but the evidence there is circumstantial).

Maybe they won the £20 lottery which seems to be impossible to win

I can't imagine the amount of money you lost but I'd sue this ex friend

Why is sueing people the go-to solution? Especially your friend?

OP - I’m really sorry, your friend is a total jerk or an idiot. Either they were rude and stupid enough not to realize they were being distracting to the people around you or they were trying to get you thrown out. Either way, that’s not what a real friend does. It’s better to go alone to an event than to go with someone who’s just not into the event, even if they are your friend. You might even have met someone who shared your interest if you had gone alone.

If he's intentionally talking loudly during a play he's pretty much an asshole no matter what way you look at it.
