Today, my shower is being renovated so I washed my hair in the kitchen sink. I put my two year-old son on the counter next to me so I could keep him close. As I was rinsing out my hair, my son started playing with the light switches. He flicked the garbage disposal by accident. FML

Today, I took a shower while my two-year-old slept. In the 30 minutes it took me to shower, get dressed, and go back to his room, he had woken up, taken his pants and diaper off, and smears crap all over himself and his bed. FML

Today, my 3-year-old came to me very excited because he had gone to the bathroom by himself for the first time. What he did not tell me was that he had shit on the floor, and when I went into the bathroom to check, I slipped on a turd and knocked myself out on the sink. FML

Today, I was taking a warm shower when someone in my house flushed the toilet, making the shower extremely hot. In my rush to get out so I wouldn't get burned, I slipped and knocked a tooth out. FML

Today, I found out that if you let your son install a new shower head, he won't tighten it properly. So when you turn the shower on, it will shoot out at rocket speed, hitting you in the face. Then when you grab the shower handle to prevent yourself falling backwards, you will just rip that out and hit your head again. FML

Today, while I was showering, my brother thought it would be funny to burst through the door pretending he was a burglar. Panicked, I went to grab the soap bar as a weapon, slipped, fell, and hit my head on the faucet. FML

Today, my 2-year-old sister walked in on me while I was showering. She began to splash around in the toilet, and as I hastily jumped out to stop her, my brother and his friend got a good look as they walked past the room. FML

Today, I was taking a shower, when my dad decided to turn off the water to the house, run upstairs, and throw a bucket of freezing cold sludge into the shower with me. He wouldn't turn the water back on for 2 hours. FML

Uhm, seriously, I have to agree with #77/theanonimouse. I was reading all you people like "OMG kid on the counter? HE COULD HAVE FALLEN AND HURT HIMSELF OMG!"... ... ... Yes, maybe if he decided he was going to stand up and walk along the edge while doing the jive. And as far as her hair; for one thing, when I'm washing my hair in the sink, despite it being about five inches long at the most, the tips STILL go down the drain a bit. Back when my hair was down to my ass, it was downright ridiculous and I would have been better off trying to make it rain half the time. With shoulderblade length hair or longer... just, urgh. At that point you have to do it in stages. -scowls- Roots, mid, tips, and SCRUB those tips, loves... and for another, it might not have even torn or cut her hair so much as sprayed things all over the place, including her face and the hair she just washed. Which is ick-ish, and troublesome, being another ten minutes of cleaning and another wash.
