Today, I found out I got HIV. I’ve used condoms with all my Tinder hookups and never shared needles or anything with anyone. I was supposed to have a Tinder date tonight. Guess I’ll just be single forever then. FML

Get re-tested and if it’s not a false positive, then you need to get anti retro virals and lead a healthy lifestyle. It’s not a death sentence

One of your Tinder dates was probably infected. Just because you used condoms does not make you 100% exempt from contracting an STD. HIV can be transmitted via vaginal/seminal fluids/blood of an infected person. It may have gotten somewhere into your body during intercourse. It’s really important to get tested and encourage your potential hookups to get tested as well. You can’t just be dipping your dick into everyone and their mother without taking precautions. Both FML for contracting a horrible illnesss & YDI for not being careful where you put your dick.

Condoms are no guarantee when it comes to STDs. They aren't even 100% against pregnancy. I'm sorry this happened you.
