I am so sorry for your loss. most people are ignorant when it comes to chocolate and dogs. Hopefully his actions resulted from an innocent mistake and not maliciousness. I wish you the best and take all the time you need to grieve. Animals are fur- babies that are just as much a part of a family as any child.

It's not like she tried to feed the chocolate cake to another of your dogs. She tried to cheer you up, and while I get that it sucks, it's more of a bad reminder rather than your gf screwing up your day.
