Hand, Foot, and Mouth?
Hand foot and mouth disease is the worst! It's a virus that gives you blisters on the palms of your hands, the soles of your feet, and on your mouth and face. It is excruciatingly painful, especially when walking, moving your hands/fingers/wrists, and making facial expressions/ swallowing/ yawning/etc. However, it is like the chicken pox, in which you can only get it once. So terribly sorry that you got this! I hope that you feel better!
I can personally attest to the fact that no, it's not like chicken pox in re you only get it once. I've had it twice. Once when I was two (and then gave it to my mom, who's physician couldn't figure out what it was and promptly freaked out, sending her to the hospital thinking she was dying or something, only for my pediatrician to properly diagnose her the next day), and then again when I was twelve and out from school for five days while my mouth and lips were covered in sores (I didn't eat solid food for nearly the entire time I had it), I had a really high fever that would break and then spike every 20 minutes, and I ended up falling over on the fourth day when I tried to get out of bed to walk. Yeah it was bad.
Hands foot and mouth disease. Be glad it's not in your mouth too. It's a bitch, I know
