Hey, at least it was a real disease. You could have had that inconvenient, expensive debacle and come home with a diagnosis of the creeps, the willies or, gasp! the heebie-jeebies!
Your wife waking you up because she worried about her health and you losing sleep because you have to go to the hospital I feel is acceptable. What if it was worse then what it was. You would feel like a jerk. Plus if/when you have kids it probably won’t be the last time you go to the hospital in the middle of the night
