Helicopter parents

Today, instead of having my friends come pick me up, my dad drove me over to visit them. He insisted on walking me up to the door, hugging me goodbye, and making sure my friends were appropriate enough to hang out with. I'm in college. FML

You're still their little girl~ But yes, that is a bit embarrassing...

well there could be worse, like he could join you with your friends.

Holy underwear? What like, they were worn by a saint or something?

You should be glad that he cares. Suck it up, it's not like your life is ruined.

1. Yeah... I haven't seen my dad since I was 11. Be happy you have one who gives a crap. 2. So... why are you letting him do this? You're a big girl. Thank him for his interest, remind him you're a big girl, and drive yourself. Only little kids "are so upset by" their parents do things like this, but they are not actively doing anything to change the situation besides complain online. Grow up and make him proud.

Your dad isn't going to be around forever and it's something to laugh about :)

Today, My father made sure I wasn't going to be in the presence of bad influences, who little-would-I-know, could slowly press me to let my entire life deteriorate. FML OP, at least your father cares about you. Some people's father's beat them, leave them, don't care about them, or hate them. Be grateful your dad LOVES YOU enough to do something like that even though you'll take it as effing your life.

43- yeah, pretty sure she's married. Maybe she and her husband live with her parents...? :D Explaaaiiiinnn, Noor!

Daddy's little girl...forever. Ah suffocation can be a bitch can't it.

Talk about control issues....

At least he cares about you, AND drives you to your friends, even though your in collage. Just hug him back and tell him you love him, so he gets something back for his effort.
