Today, I was driving with a friend when we saw a wallet in the middle of his neighborhood road. When we picked it up, we saw it was loaded with cash. We drove to the man's house to return the wallet, and when we handed it to him he told us, "I would give you a reward but I don't have any cash." FML

Today, I found a wallet belonging to some guy, it had $355 inside. Because he had his address written inside, I decided to return it, hoping for a reward. I drove for 40 minutes and finally got to his house during peak hour. All he did was say, "Oh, cool." FML

Today, I lost my wallet while out shopping. Panicked, I retraced my steps and found it at a store, turned in by an employee. Grateful, I opened it to find a note that read, "We left the money but took one dollar for karma." I checked. They did actually take one dollar. FML

Today, I left my wallet on top of my car when I filled up with gas. I drove away and didn't realize it until I got home. I went back and found it on the side of the road. Empty of my credit cards, pictures and checks. All that was left was my driver's license. FML

Today, I got a taxi home from work. Only having notes in my wallet, I told the taxi driver that I'd run inside my house and come back out with the change for the journey. He agreed, but only if I left my bag as collateral. It seemed fair. An hour later, I realized my wallet was missing. FML

Today, I went shopping with a friend. She picked up a hundred dollars on the floor that somebody dropped. I told her, "I feel sorry for the retard who dropped the money." When I got home, I checked my purse and realized that I was missing a hundred dollars. FML

Today, I bumped into a man on the street. I apologized and he picked up his wallet. To clear the awkward silence, I pointed out that his wallet looked like mine. It wasn't until I was on the next street that I realized it was my wallet. FML

This is why I think Karma is bullshit. (sorry if i'm double commenting, my comment didn't show up, I'm on an iPhone.) No good deed goes unpunished. Most bad deeds go unpunished, too. Life sucks. There really isnt a reward system. Thats why everyone talking about Karma on this site are retards, and annoying.

Dude. Yeah. Sorry to hear that. It's not the fact that you wanted money, its the fact he LIED TO YOUR GUY'S FACE. The dude could've probbably been polite and be like "Yeah, thanks." Or something. Unless he just said that to **** around with your guy's heads. I have no idea. Next time you find his wallet, make sure hes missing a few dollar bills ;)

People seem to be missing the premise. Whether the guy needed the money in his wallet or not, its the fact that he was an ass about it that DOES make this a FYL. The guy could have just said "Thank ¥ou", rather than just make a statement of how he WOULD be generous, if he had cash, which he technically had. People on this site need to stop acting so morally righteous, you're just as full of shit as the guy with "no cash".
