I'm not seeing a downside here OP. You were able to make a telemarketer leave you alone without any real effort. I usually have to pretend that I have Tourette's syndrome, or that the telemarketer called a gay phone sex line just to get them to leave me alone! If that doesn't work, then I really have to get creative. :/

FYL- N/A. This is more like a win unless you are so weird and/or lonely enough to want to talk to a telemarketer. YDI- You are so weird that someone that is trying their best to sell you a product hung up on you. Good job, now tell us how you did it OP. Some methods I use: 1)Make them think they have called a phone sex line. 2)Advertise to them about the stuff that you want to sell. 3)Haggle down the price to $0.00 to whatever they're selling. If it fails, demand to talk to their supervisor and complain how bad of a service it was. Any other ideas?
