Today, I finally got my paycheck from working at my minimum wage job for the last three months. I was delighted when I saw it was worth $846. On my way to cash it, I destroyed my car's suspension. It's going to cost almost $800 to fix. FML

I dunno how much min. wage is at where u live.. but in MD it's 7.25... so for u to make $846 mean u only worked 3 weeks within 3 months..what do u do?

Point. I did the calculations, and working for $7.40 per hour (Michigan's) and 10 hours a week for 3 months equals $888, so I'm guessing that either she got paid less (not likely), or worked fewer hours.

It's typically just what people say- they usually mean deposit it, or deposit most of it, etc. That, or she's silly and doesn't have a bank account. o_0

That must be a really shit job to only get that much money. I'm 13 and I've earnt 2500 in almost three months. that's in AUD btw.

#53: I agree. We have to be 16 minimum to be allowed to work, and some jobs require you to be 18... Working a real job at 13 is just... wrong.
