KenWhatIMean tells us more.
Well I had my transportation all sorted, I checked the train and bus times before hand, and I didn't have that much to drink, but I felt horrible because I was up til about 8 in the morning, only because the person's house I was staying at didn't go home til that time. Personally I wanted to go home about 2. The only reason I missed my bus/got lost etc is because no-one would agree to walk me to the bus stop instead of just directing me towards it, and when I tried phoning someone to find out how I got to the bus stop no-one would answer because they were all still asleep. Also I work ALL weekend. If I didn't go out when I had work the next day, I wouldn't get to go out at all:(

Pics or it didnt happen
Nopes, I missed my bus because no-one would walk me to the bus stop and I had to find my own way there and couldn't find the right bus stop:(
that sucks.
well that's better than having a shit load of work to do WHILE your drenched, tired, cold, whatevs.
haha sweety, public transportation only works if you know where it is and arrive there on time. Sounds like you didn't plan how to get where you wanted to go! Sorry you had such a bad day though!
If a bus driver leaves even a minute early from their scheduled time, several passengers could miss the bus. Meaning some very upset people. /bus driver rant
even if op said tired and hungover. so I'm assuming late night drinking. so he likely ran late and the bus didn't go early
Are you happy- your going to start another- "YDI for drinking" thread. Although you are a bit of a knob seeing as you knew you had work the next day. Then missing your bus, then not knowing where your train station was, not taking an umbrella ( always rains in Scotland anyway) and obviously your shoes are not working shoes if they gave you blisters. All taken into account- YDI
A wet day in Scotland to be sure. My girlfriend is stuck in Aberdeen because her road flooded. Bad times.
I hate to say it, but this pimp has a point.
Or....and this is just throwing it out there, she could just drink when she doesn't have work unlike Pimpin who has obviously built up his immunity over the years and is invincible against the affects of intoxication. I was out last night, I had a lot to drink and I still got my ass out of bed and to work, I have blisters on my feet from walking the distance of about 5 miles in what I admit were obviously a shit choice of shoes for a job interview. I mean I know the Op deserved it, but his account of things just irritates me.

Lol it's ok OP- we've all been there- I just hope the wrath of the YDI for drinking/being a women/having a job brigade doesn't go to the lengths it does on everyone elses posts. It get's a bit boring hearing ppl say- "I read drunk so I put YDI". Now you know your friend is slightly unrealible and doesn't care you have commitments.
It's ok...I have absolutely no sense of direction and getting lost terrifies me so I see how you feel. You're allowed to live a little, and it's good that you still got up and went to work despite feeling tired and being hungover. I really don't think the OP deserves it...I mean, she's allowed to have fun
