I totally understand how you feel. Valentine's Day during a 7.5-year relationship, my boyfriend and I were talking about getting married. On his birthday in April, I made him dinner and went to bed expecting to have sex. He hands me a letter telling me that he's breaking up with me, along with giving me back his birthday gift ($500 to BestBuy for a new laptop), and tells me he's going to date his best friend (who IS female, by the way). He dumped me because he didn't want to date a dialysis patient anymore. I'm only 22, and not eligible for transplant. FML, too. Though, I found a good man who will stand with me through thick and thin, now. You will, too.

Oh yeah, cuz anyone with half a brain knows that when a guy asks "Will you marry me?" it means that he doesn't want to get married. Gee, if only everyone else were as smart as you. Sorry that a guy walked out on you, but the OP doesn't deserve to be punished for it.
