Today, during an unrelated appointment with my GP, he offered me a free check for chlamydia. Despite me reassuring him that I was STI free, he insisted that I should undergo the test. I ended up agreeing, only because I was too embarrassed to admit that I'm still a virgin. FML

Your future partner will most likely appreciate you being a virgin and STI free.

Still being a virgin is a great thing! You can wait until you find someone you really love and in the meantime you don't have to worry about having any STDs. You rock!

What's wrong with being a virgin? That's nothing to feel bad or embarrassed about. Besides he is your doctor, he's not gonna tell the world about it.

There is nothing wrong with being a virgin...

If anyone should know your a virgin it's your doctor. It's nothing to be ashamed about.

There's no shame in being a virgin if it means not having an STI

That's definitely nothing to be embarrassed about, regardless what society tells you. You should be proud!

OP, there's no reason to be embarassed about being a virgin, it's more embarrassing to have an STI/STI If you ask me. Also, you never said how old you are, I mean if ur under 18, then being a virgin is kinda standard if u ask me, if ur btwn 18 and 25, then u just haven't met the right person or gotten married yet. I'm 27, I was a virgin until 19, after 3 years with my ex. so it's a personal choice and it's always better to wait than regret.
