Today, my boyfriend and I had sex. Before we finished, we were interrupted by my ex dropping my daughter off with no notice. In my rush to answer the door, I hopped off my boyfriend. The condom came off inside me. After a few minutes of feeling around, I pulled the condom out, and discovered I was on my period. FML

I really don't see any situation where a mom thinks it's a good idea that her daughter is having premarital sex especially when sees young enough to go to her for these issues. But that's just me.

There's a lot of judgemental people in here. I'm 21, I live at home while I'm still at uni. I only learnt to drive this year. I have a boyfriend.. But because I live at home and I've only just learnt to drive, that must make me too young for sex, right? Even though in the UK the age of consent is 16. Stop being so judgemental!

It's not about where she lives, or that she doesn't drive. It's the fact that she couldn't find a solution or a method of travel without her mother's help. I'm sure that by 16 (I believe you said that was the age of consent there) you could either work out a retrieval method or find a ride/take a bus/walk to the doctor on your own.
