i would sooo make them put the fence back up when they are done thats bull$h!t
do any of you guys know how much labour, money and time it requires to put up a fence? kids these days... you need to dig holes in the ground, cement foundation, perfect angle of strings to the nearest object to make the fence stury, heavy weight etc. I really think its stupid that spoiled 12 year olds kids are commenting this is not hard.
lighten up gaybo
Gaybo? Oh god, you really are 12. Seriously, don't use gay as an insult you creep. Grow up a bit. And, for all the people saying that the company will put the fence back, as if! They don't do that. And anyway, even if they did, It's damn ******* annoying he spent a week putting it up, only to see half of it ripped down again. Jeezzz, the idiots on fml..
I dont know what that word means. Its unfortunate thats the most intilligent thing he said today though.
Did you damage the pipe while making the fence?
Yeah, that was my response too, At least where I live there are a number of infomercials on the radio saying "Before you dig a hole in your yard, call this number so we can help you avoid hitting any pipes or lines." I'm not giving an FML or YDI unless I know that.
hahaha
And that really blows
Technically, if it wasnt your fault that the pipe ruptured or whatever, and they have to damage your property in order to fix something that wasn't your fault, then they should be legally responsible for repairing any damage they cause. I say force them to get a professional to come and build you a really spiffy fence this time.
Utility easements give the water company the right to tear up a specified portion your property (a number of feet in from the property line) in order to make repairs to their pipeline. I imagine there's easements on this person's deed giving the company these rights, so no, he has no legal recourse. The only thing he can do at this point is hope the company is nice enough to fix his fence again, otherwise he'll just have to fix it himself. This is why you don't do things like building pool decks over easements ;-)
#34: what the f***??
Keywords
Tell them that if this water pipe isn't affecting you specifically, they can put the fence back up when they're finished.
I dislike people like #2. They can't understand that an FML is just a way of sharing annoying things that have happened to you. Posting an FML does not mean you are in tears about it or anything like that. I haven't seen a single FML where some retard hasn't something with the theme of "This isn't an FML..." What has to happen for it to be an FML? Do all your family have to die in some unbelievably ironic way to submit an FML? God...
