Today, I got a new dentist. You know how most dentists play soft, relaxing music? Well this guy seems to like rap a lot, and it's kinda hard getting your teeth cleaned to the sound of bullets going off. FML

Out of the 13 MRIs I have had, only one allowed any music. It would make it better. Damn c-spine with and without contrast takes for ever.

Seriously, bring your own music. I spent my dentist trip last week listening to Siouxsie and the Banshees, kept me calm even though that office is shaped like a nightmare for my anxiety.

Eh, assuming you can make out the words. Just tuning out the vocals and listening to instrumentation with metal tends to be easy for me. But then, I don't favour death metal.

Today, I got home after working 14 hours completely exhausted and found my wife asleep, after not sleeping for at least 4 nights with our newborn. She woke up and couldn’t remember where she'd left the baby. After a mad panic, she remembered that he's with her mother. We are not coping very well. FML
