It’s not the same. You’re playing a game. Your pleasure could be derived from the fact that you’re playing a game rather than living actual life. I say this because I did the same thing back around 2009-2010 (**** me I’m getting old). I spent hours each day playing the game and one day I realized I was doing the same thing as real life - I had a similar job, I was working on a book, things like that. But I wasn’t happy in real life, and I realized I was “working on the book” in the game more than in real life and I started feeling a little ridiculous lol. That was my experience, but it doesn’t mean you won’t be happy achieving those goals you laid out - they’re great goals! I think it should be inspiration to work toward getting the job you want, saving up for the home you want, etc. Work on that more than the time you spend playing Sims, and you will work your way toward the happiness you desire :)
