so YOU didnt know which apt YOU rented? moron...YDI
In very large apartment complexes, landlords often show only a model apartment. Hence a person does not necessarily see the exact apartment he/she is going to get unless they arrange it with the previous tenant. In the University town I live in, all leases end in August and new leases start around that time too. Hence, it is not possible for landlords to show every single potential apartment that is being vacated and the tenant can get, and hence show only the model apartments. Also, not all tenants would be comfortable with landlords showing their apartment to future potential tenants. Showing apartments before a person vacated can also lead to legal cases for encroaching into private property.
how the **** do you not know what apartment was yours? apartments have numbers......so say you rented apartment #4, but the key worked for apartment #9 and you just decided "oh i must be moving here" OP, how about you go play in traffic
that sucks balls
Haahahha LOL make him carry them all back down again! :)
the bright side: at least you have to carry everything down one flight of stairs. imagine if your apartment was really on the 6th floor or something.. your situation isn't that bad op.
wow that sucks=( but wouldn't you have known what your apartment looks like? you know when you buy an apartment or house you normal go see what it looks like and stuff
I agree with goldhighways. If you've signed the lease, which, presumably, would have your apartment number in it, then you should be able to tell which apartment is yours just by looking at the numbers on the door. I'd say that it's your fault, OP, just as much as the landlord's.

I'd make him help me move everything!!
Well that's pretty careless, but if he doesn't do whatever he can to help, then he's a dick too. And careless dicks often end up with diseases.
