Today, I was ringing up a lady and her daughter at the shoe store I work at. The background on my nametag is a rainbow, and when the daughter saw it, she asked her mother why it was so. Her mother looked at my nametag, then me, then turned to her daughter and said, "Because he hates God, honey". FML

Today, I was walking through the store when I saw a little boy point to me and say something to his mom. I was out of earshot at the time, but I got close enough just in time to hear the mom reply, "God says we have to love everyone, even if they're ugly." FML

Today, a woman stopped me and started chewing me out for wearing a pentagram necklace. I explained to her that is wasn't a pentagram, it was a Star of David. She continued chewing me out because apparently that still means I hate Jesus. FML

Today, I wore a t-shirt that had a rainbow-ish multicolored design when I went to drop off my daughter at school. Another parent threatened to “call the authorities” on me for wanting to “poison” children with “f**got memorabilia,” and to “stop pushing my agenda” on them. I’m a straight dude. FML

Today, I returned a shirt for my mom. When the cashier asked why, I just said my mom didn't like the way it looked. After an awkward pause, I noticed the cashier was wearing the same shirt. She was not amused. FML

Today, I brought my daughter to work with me. When we walked in, a client was blowing up at my boss, all because as my boss was walking past his storage unit, he glanced in and was about to compliment how neat it was. After my boss left, I had to deal with the aftermath, which left my daughter terrified of this man. FML

Today, as I was bagging groceries, I looked down to see a 6-year-old urinating on my shoes and the floor next to me. I told his mother that he should take her kid to the restroom, only to be told to "mind my own goddamn business." I was later fired for arguing with the customer. FML

Today, a shifty customer came in to my store and was hanging around for about 30 minutes. Apparently, he took that time to put religiously-motivated anti-abortion notes into each and every pair of socks. In the following hours, I had 17 angry returns and was personally threatened twice. FML

the Bible condemns homosexuality as a sin, but it also condemns lots of other things. hardcore Christians are always flaming gays and lesbians, but they forget that it's not worse than any other sin, and God said to love everyone as your neighbor. these types of Christians don't do a very good job at that and in my eyes they're much worse then gays and lesbians. so what if homosexuals are sinners, we're ALL sinners! singling out one group of sinners and hating them is the worst sin in my opinion. btw, having a rainbow nametag has NOTHING to do with ANYTHING....maybe you just like rainbows.

more importantly, it condemns gayness( only men) right next to eating shelfish and rare meat. anybody who follows all of those redicilous comandments can be homophobic in my book. ( I'd probably still hate them though)

seriously #37 i completely agree with you! hardcore christians are ridiculous when it comes to their own mindset of what is right and what is wrong. Personally, I dont think christians have the right to make that judgement because only God can judge. Thats why Eve ate the apple to begin with: she thought she could over-rule God's judgement and look where that got her!! I'm Christian, but I'm definitely not hardcore like that and as a matter of fact, my best friend is gay and i love her to death!! lol People should worry about fixing their own lives before they start worrying about other people and how they should live theirs.
