Today, my husband presented me with a DNA test proving that our newborn daughter isn't his. Confused, I got her tested again. She's not a match to me either. FML

Wow, that must be a real blow. Both your husband thinking you cheated on him and doing a DNA test. And then you discover it's not even your baby. I don't understand how your FML is so calm. I hope everything will work out for you

Mistakes happen at the hospital. Is it possible you came home with the wrong baby?

Well, they certainly didn't come home with the right baby.

Did someone put some random couple's fertilized egg in your womb? This probably happens more than we know.

I am honestly baffled at this. sounds like a lawsuit.

You need to get the DNA tests double checked for errors, just in case. If there's no issues there then get hold of the hospital and raise absolute, screaming bloody hell. Legal, media, the whole lot. Every baby born there needs to be checked that it went home with the right parents. I'm so sorry this has happened to you but there's at least one other set of parents that need to know about this. Raise hell and then sue for enough to put your kid through college. I hope it gets sorted 🫂

So provided the hospital has modern-day electronics and bracelets, that probably IS your kid--there's a really rare phenomenon where kids have wildly 'different' DNA than their parents on tests. Check with the hospital where you gave birth.
