I work for a government agency that doesn't always update there files as thoroughly as they should. I have seen this happen!!!

I've done this before! I worked for Suzuki, and had to call past customers to see if they'd be interested in attending the launch of a new car. A lot of Suzuki customers are rather elderly so it was no surprise that family members had to inform me that the customer couldn't attend as they were deceased!!!

Well, you can scratch off their names on your patient list! Less clutter for you!
Well that's one way to update a list...where do you work? That's not very common to do
I work in health care too. I can understand how that feels. Try not to let it get to you.
