Never assume

Today, I was working and a woman wanted to pay with a credit card. It already had a picture on the card so you don't have to ask for i.d., and just glancing at it. I asked, "Oh, is this your husband's card?" She then replied, "No, that's just me with glasses and short hair." FML

Was her name bychance Susan Boyle? Haha, I'm sorry, that was low. She's a good sport. Just hideous.

And that's why you never ever, make personal comments during small talk to customers. No matter how little they may seem.

42- you need I.D. whenever you present a credit card to prove you are the owner of the card. Also, I have no idea why in the hell you wrote so much- I only read the first line

Try to keep the comments gender neutral if you must speak

Idk why you need to check their ID... unless it's AmEx... and the only bank I know that does the photo credit card is Bank of America... and they use Visa/Mastercard... and it's against the Visa/Mastercard Merchant Agreement to check the ID of user... so basically OP is admitting to violating that store's merchant agreement with their credit card processor

How is that a YDI? Maybe that bitch was ******* busted.

Thank you 51! p.s. I completely admire her voice and her talent everyone. I was just being a little cruel and dissing her appearance, because I'm a jerk like that :)
