Its always the assumption isn't it? If someone doesn't feel your enthusiasm for a situation then they must automatically be jealous. Chances are higher that its exactly the opposite - she has little to no interest in currently having children and being pregnant hence she doesn't give a toss. Of course, as a friend of a pregnant person you have to do what friends do and be supportive but as the pregnant person you should also be doing what friends do and not be a bloody stuck record the whole time. If your friend's are getting this fed up after only 11 weeks then maybe get a hint and realise a new topic of conversation. This isn't just around pregnancy, this is for more trivial things and for similar situations - I have many interests that many of my friends don't share - what sense, therefore, is it to bring it up in conversation? If I were world bloody champion in a sport why would I talk about it around friends that don't care about sport? It wouldn't make sense as a conversation piece. Of course they'd want updates, but not every conversation to be about it.

What are you talking about? Where does it say anything about OP's friend insulting the baby? OP probably won't shut up about the baby and her friend probably doesn't care. I know it seems insensitive but you can't force someone to care about something that they don't care about.

She's a jerk. This is a HUGE part in your life. If she were a good friend she would just bear with the baby talk for 9 months. Also, what's wrong with being pro-life? why do people think it's funny to make fun of them, but people who make fun of gay people are just as bad as a racist who believes in slavery??
Because whilst pro-lifers are entirely allowed to have an opinion, their thoughts are as outdated as slavery and they're barking up a futile tree.

Show it anywayAre you serious? Are you seriously serious? No one cares? She was talking to her BEST FRIEND. Have you ever been pregnant (or if you're a "man", have you ever gotten someone pregnant)? When a woman is pregnant, it IS her life. It completely consumes her for 9 months. When my wife was pregnant, everyone around me constantly asked how she was, how the pregnancy was going, etc. Strangers would walk up to her and want to touch her belly. No one cares? Mediocre? Maybe cretins like YOU don't care, but don't for one millisecond think that you speak for the rest of the civilised world.

I get it, you're excited for baby. One thing you'll find becoming a mom is you'll lose some friends and gain other friends.
Pregnant women talk about being pregnant. So do the fathers (assuming they're proud fathers). I'm sure I annoyed the living **** out of everyone around me when my wife was pregnant (both times). And now that the baby is a month old, all those people who were annoyed just want to see the baby pictures. You should just tell your "friend" to be happy for you and share in your excitement.
