If you're wearing white or something short, then def your period. Boners go away after a bit,...that period stain lasts all day and possibly forever.

no way, period all the way. you cant stand up just like you couldnt with a boner PLUS there's a smell. & it can get everywhere, your clothes are ruined... i could go on.

period is definitely worse because: 1) you could have a stain on your butt that doesn't come out, whereas a boner can go away. 2) you get your period without knowing most of the time, and you always know when you have a boner. 3) you can hide a boner, but it's harder to hide a red stain . but have to say, a kid in my class got a boner and it was pretty embarrassing for him.

Boners happen all the time. Periods happen at a certain time of the month. I've never been able to tell if a girl was on their period without having a direct conversation with them, so I don't see what's embarrassing about it. For those of you saying that you can hide boners, that's not really the case. Trying to lose a boner gets it in the limbo state where it's half limp and that's bad news if you're walking around. Going to say boners are worse.
