I think everyone is saying this guy is a jerk because he shoved her period. I'm pretty sure shoving is a rude action from anyone especially if there is not an apology.

Don't make assumptions like that from a one-sentence post on FML. As far as we know, he slightly pushed passed her and OP saw it as more of a shove. There could have been a big misunderstanding on both sides. I know you said it may be exaggerated, but it doesn't mean he'll beat a woman and that's not a situation to make light of.
