That's was really harsh and insensitive on her part but I wouldn't worry about it. You're obviously young and your "madly in love" is just infatuation. You have a lot of growing and experiences to have. You'll forget about her insensitivity soon enough. Best of luck with finding a girl who appreciates your interest in them.
