OK?

By Habit - This FML is from back in 2011 but it's good stuff - United Kingdom

Today, I learned that the only reason most of my students come to my lectures is that they have a running bet on how many times I say "OK" in two hours. It was 137 last week. FML

My cousins counted how many times I said the word "then" in my mandarin conversation. I was on the same boat as you.

That's not that bad. I'm in English 11 and my teacher said it 154 times last class in under an hour

That's impressive...A little over an "okay" a minute for two full hours. Take a deep breath, it'll all be "okay".

They should turn it into a drinking game. See who can keep up with how many times you say okay.

Pff. Easy. Talk to a random kid and offer to say okay EXACTLY the number of times they agree on, if they pay you. Do the same thing with a different kid every day. Eventually word will get around that the winner is always chosen before the day starts. This is not only THE most effective way to get them to stop, but will also end up getting you money! :D
