Overzealous Fitbit

Today, I decided to try a new fitness tracker. After walking around all day, I looked at my app to check how many steps I’d taken, only to realize the tracker had counted every time I flailed my arms in frustration trying to figure out how to set it up. FML

First impressions

Today, I joined a gym. I’m overweight and not very athletic, so I was nervous. I looked around and tried a treadmill. I start walking at a chill pace, then got ambitious and cranked it to a "light jog." Within seconds, I tripped, fell, and sent the emergency stop button flying across the room. The gym staff ran over and I swear someone said, “Well, at least he’s trying.” FML

Yeah... I figured that out with mine after some quality girlie time put me as walking about 3 miles in a one bedroom bungalow... My Mum's still laughing at me for it every time she sees the watch. There really should be a very clear explanation as to how they work printed on the front page of the info booklets.

I once tried one fitness tracker. Heart rate seemed off, after few measures. I tried it on wood. And the wood was alive, that's what fitness tracker showed. Turns out, that fitness tracker just randomly generated numbers about heat rate and "sensor" was just green blinking led

Garmin correctly identified bradycardia for me. Verified with cardiologist.

Good for you. Hope you will be okay. Mine was some cheap China brand from Aliexpress.

Three ways to fool a FitBit. 1) YMCA; 2) Macarena; 3) **********. It's like a ShakeWeight in your watch.
