Panic!

By daybyday - 22/11/2011 08:08 - Australia

Today, I found out that what I thought could be a life-threatening issue causing me chest pains was only because I over-obsessed about it. Now not only do I have social anxiety, but I get so anxious I can create fake illnesses. FML

Anxiety is dangerous, overthinking and obsessing can cause serious problems. Sit back and relax OP.

You're posting on here must not be too bad

I know exactly what u are going through, sometimes I get anxiety out of nowhere. but you just have to try and control it.. smoking weed can help you stay calm, but if u smoke too much and then stop cold turkey, you'll have psychological withdrawals and still get panic attacks :S

I have that too. But I throw up instead if getting cheat pains :p it sucks ://

I spent my entire first period everyday in the nurses office because of this in sixth grade. Oddly enough, I still ended up with an A...

Socrates questioning. Has it ever happened? What are the chances of it actually happening? Trust me...been there plenty of times.

theres a name for that disorder but most people have troubble admitting that it really is all in their head even though they have physical pain so good for you, your ahead of the game

I'm going through the EXACT same thing. I have social anxiety and I think I either have mono or cancer..

Turns out I do have mono though. At least it isn't as bad as I thought!

I has this problem last year. Just get yourself on some strong pills and you'll be fine :)

There's an app for that. Seriously, I've downloaded a few. They are called ambient apps. They play peaceful sounds, such as ocean waves, rain, calm wildlife, the sound of a fan, or heartbeat. They help redirect your focus and allow you the opportunity to regain calmness, while taking in full deep breaths, at least ten! I hope you feel better!
