Today, at Walmart, a crazy old woman bitched me out for being pregnant. She kept following me around, calling me a stupid teen slut and saying she hoped my baby died so I could live a "normal life." I'm 26 and just very short. FML

Today, a bratty kid at Walmart called my mom a "fat bitch" when she wasn't walking fast enough for him. Enraged, I gave him the meanest death glare I could muster and I tore him a new one, right in front of his mother, who then defended her kid, saying that my mom and I should both lose a few pounds. FML

Today, I was at Aéropostale with some friends when I noticed a woman glaring at me. When we got to the checkout, the woman still had her eyes on me, so I asked why she was staring. She snapped, "If you had kept your legs closed, you wouldn't be pregnant." I'm not pregnant. FML

Today, I was carrying some bags out of a store, and my shirt had scooted up a little. I had no free hands, so I ignored it. A woman stopped me to tell me that bare midriffs are only attractive on skinny girls, "not fat ones." I'm 6 months pregnant. FML

Today, being near-broke, I resorted to shopping at Walmart. Barely ten minutes in, an obese sack of lard posing as a human being shoved me away from the bacon I was looking at. I fell, busted my lip, then got screamed at by another woman for not watching where I was going. FML

It shouldn't matter that you're 26, a pregnant teen deserves exactly the same amount of respect that you do. No pregnant girl or woman should be harassed like that. I can't imagine what that must have felt like. Horrible, I expect. People like this are a stain on our society.

I feel your pain OP. While I've never been publicly abused I get a lot of long stares/glares and second looks when at the mall with my one year old. I had her at 29 (and married and mortgaged) but people tell me I look a lot younger. People need to consider others feelings before they judge and conclude too early!

Let's say, hypothetically, you are, sixteen years of age and pregnant. It doesn't give anyone the excuse for someone to say those kinds of things-- especially when they don't know. A lot of the time, it's because girls were raped. It wasn't their choice.

You know what they say about rape though. It's one of the few crimes where the victim gets blamed. It wouldn't have mattered, people would still have asked what she was wearing.
