Photoshopped

Today, when I visited my grandmother at her nursing home, I was looking at pictures she had of all the grandkids. All were normal graduation pictures etc. but mine was a cutout where she made me skinnier. FML

at least it's not like me my grandma doesn't have one picture of me anywhere in her house. and she's never asked for one and she has never taken a picture of me at least your grandma cares enough to have pictures of you even if she wishes you were skinny

i miss my grandmother. She passed on in dec. So she wants you to loose weight. It may be due to her wanting you to be healthy. Maybe you remind her of her childhoood self. don't assume the worst.

Tell her you have a picture of her, but you edited out the wrinkles to make her look younger. And at #3, get over it.

#2 and #5, she is hurt by this. It's very clear that neither of you is overweight, and have no idea what it is like to have people criticize your weight. It is one of the worst feelings you could ever know. If her grandmother wants her to be healthy, she could say something, instead of doctoring a photo of her to make her look how she wishes she looks. Her grandmother should accept her the way that she is. PS: I don't know what the person who posted this looks like, so idk if you're overweight, or if your grandmother is just being rude.

yea, sounds like my grandma. she lives hours from my family and I, and one time the first thing she said when we went to visit her was "wow, this family could use to loose some weight". thanks grams, nice to see you after 6 months too. don't let it get you down!

I would say the best remedy to this FML is losing some weight, fatty. TREAD-MILL! TREAD-MILL! TREAD-MILL!
