If you're working a job in im guessing clothing retail, it doesn't look good for the company if their employee doesn't know what the proper name for the garment is.
Slang or not, anyone with half a brain should know there's a proper term for the shirt... sorry but YDI.
I have literally never heard them referred to as anything other than a "Wifebeater" obviously depending on the audience I may just say a "white top" but it is a Wifebeater....
And what would that name be? I know there is one, but I’ve never heard it ever in my entire life. They’ve always been “wife bearers” or “white shirts.”
