Today, I was taking a nap. Apparently, my two year old daughter decided to crawl on top of the covers on my bed because she was scared since there was a thunderstorm. I thought she was one of our cats so I kicked her off. She hit the wall. FML

LMAO must have been a hard kick to do that and even then, why the hell would you kick a cat that hard?

I don't think your child will be crawling in your bed anymore for a while... if ever.

Why the **** would you kick your cat that hard? YDI

What the **** is wrong with you people? Yes it was a bad mistake, I hope the poor girl is okay and doesn't hold resentment to her parent. But honestly? You ******* people piss me off bitching about animal rights and shit, but when a human being, which no offense is higher up than an animal, touches an animal wrong you yell at them and treat them like shit! So tell me how the **** is that better than tossing a cat off the bed? I know how that is, my family owns tons of animals, I grew up with them, they get annoying. My dog killed my cat when I was a child, then proceeded to kill my sister's ferret years later, was it wrong of me to discipline it? I think not, it lived, and forgot all about it. In truth they should not have attempted to kick the cat this hard, but then again maybe the bed is close to the wall, so it wasn't that hard. All you hypocritical people should be ashamed, to treat this person like that, I'll bet a majority of you are Democrats, yeah I said it.

@466: Hey now, I'm a Democrat and agreed with everything you say. Lets not jump to hasty generalizations now, shall we?

If she "nudged" her child off the bed, she should've just said that. When she said "kicked", everyone's going to assume it was literally a kick, not a nudge/tap/etc.

New kind of Darwin Award: The Retroactive! Seriously, a two-year-old weighs, like 25 pounds. Cats weigh more like 10 lbs (though there are some larger varieties that can weigh quite a bit). Either way, you kicked something that loves you hard enough to hit the wall. YDI. All the way.

Also, yes, cats land on their feet. However, if you kick it and it hit a wall, it still hit the wall. It's not like it's going to spring against the wall on its feet and walk off. The way the OP made it sound like was that the child went airborne. lmao.
