actually if you look at the way the posting had been worded it actually suggests that he did know his cat was dead, this has already been pointed out in previous comments, we know through common sense that hopefully the op would not have left his deceased cat on the lawn to wake up to the following morning hence the fml otherwise we should be concerned :-( make sense now???
Why do you let your cat outside at night? I know you are absolutely not the only one, but I never understood why people would let their hopefully beloved pet live on the streets.
