Today, I was meeting my girlfriend at the airport after studying abroad for a year. She ran to hug me, and I wanted to pick her up and spin her around, like they do in those romantic movies. I tried to do that, but instead I dropped her. FML

A similar thing happened to me. My ex ran full tilt to me, I tried to catch her but she ran into me so hard she knocked me over and landed on top of me. She never did realise quite how heavy she was.

HAHAHA #11 i remember my ex used to jump into my arms and i would spin her but one time she tried to tackle me instead and since i was braced to catch her she just slammed into me as if i was a brick wall (;

LOL my boyfriend is coming up from the states again in a few months and I cant wait to see him, but I really hope he doesnt drop me. I'd be so devastated. xD

My boyfriend tried that on me lol. He tried it during sex though. Thank God he dropped me on his bed. That's still adorable. I guess it's the thought that counts. Hopefully she sees it the same way.

I did that before, cept I didn't jump I forgot to so I just ran into my friend and then I fell down. That hurt :) But this is so cute, and yeah we know it's not real life but people do that all the time.

LOL. I can totally relate to this. My girlfriends 17 year old neighbor picked her up in her arms and decided to hand her to me. I thought she wasn't too heavy. I fell but her neighbor caught her.
