Today, I woke up to a good friend of mine leaving my bed. The very friend I've had a crush on for months, and who knows exactly how I feel about him. Everything was great until he said, "Yeah, about last night… It's just that you were there, and I was weak. See ya." FML

Your fault. You don't know how to evaluate a person before finally deciding that you love them. You remind me of those girls that fall for dumb guys and complain about why you always fall for the bad guys--because you have bad judgment. You deserved it.

Oh, nooo!! I feel so bad for you. And your friend's kind of an idiot.

everyone who is saying she's at fault is an idiot. how do you know how long she has been friends with this guy? it doesn't give you the full details. I've been in a similar situation before... I was in love with my best friend of 5 years and I was afraid to act on anything. he started being mean to me and not talking to me and I later on found out it was because he was mad when I dated other people. now, we are together and it's perfect. but, anyways. I'm sorry dear... don't let him use you if he knows how you feel and he doesn't feel the same way, it''ll only hurt worse in the end =/

Hahaha! Everyone comforting this girl needs to pull their heads out of their ovaries. Was she wrong to assume that this was a good idea? Yes. Is it unfortunate for her that he rescinded what she assumed to be implied in their "doing the deed"? Yes. Is she the first girl something like this has happened to? hahah No! Does alcohol absolve either of them of responsibility for poor choices made while under the influence? No, they had plenty of wherewithal prior to getting drunk (unless either of them is a mentally retarded) to prevent getting drunk in the first place. This was not rape unless she expressly refused to have sex with him. Upon waking, she only regrets his response to the previous night's activities, not the activities themselves until after he recants them. At best, it's like buyer's remorse. Definitely regret and likely shame, but that doesn't justify calling it rape.
