Today, it was the girl of my dreams' birthday. She already knows I am totally in love with her. So for her birthday I decided to buy her a $60 dollar bottle of rum for her and her friends to have fun with. She picked it up from my house with her new boyfriend waiting in the car. FML

"$60 dollar"? OP, you DO realise that "$60" means "60 dollars", right? Also, FYL for being treated like that, but YDI for spending so much on a girl. I've been madly in love with girls, but never gotten them anything like that for their birthdays unless I'm with them.

That should've been enough of a clue that next time don't buy a girl a bottle to **** off with her friends and boyfriend with. Invite her out for drinks. Or just ask to take her out. Or alternitively, don't pay any attention to her, hit on her friends and act like the biggest dick you can be. This seems to impress more girls than actually being a decent guy. Trust me. i feel bad for u man, i mean ive been there only i chased her and didnt buy her a $60 BOTTLE OF RUM but guys take it easy on him sure hes not the smartest ever but he is in love he doesnt have to be. though he really really should reconsider how he handles it
